The Prada Annual Report came from a place of wanting to explore typographic and numeric solutions, as well as develop an aesthetic that complimented that of the Prada collections being created and distributed towards the end of the fiscal year.
The plum are vibrant red both matched that of the collection, and the light purple duotone images give the shareholders a taste of the designs that were released nearing Q4
It was important to place the need for legibility and simplicity above a flourished design, while still incorporating classic Prada style. This is where the typeface choices, establishing whitespace, and developing a strong grid came into effect. A more streamline, modernized Prada logo is showcased on the front of the book, as well as a more classical style logo throughout the book.
The annual report itself is sized 5.5 X 8.5, in a classic hardback book style format.
